We have two large-breed dogs who love retrieving in the water and playing catch in the yard, and these flying discs have been fantastic. I ordered the large ball because Boomer is a big boy. The ball its self is foamy soft to the touch but very firm . Has no smell at least that I can detect . It has little indents on the surface, I agree (with the info) that it will help rub against my boys teeth (brushing time reduced!). You can see them in the picture (the indents not the teeth). The divots you see are from Boomer. But no real damage. I’ll keep updating for a while.
